The LAB is a place for High Schoolers to come together, create, produce or just hang out.

We are dedicated to a safe space, open communication, artistic experimentation and social justice. We invite teens from across Westchester to join The LAB. Make your voice heard!

Our Mission

The LAB’s goal is to amplify, mentor and develop the interests of a diverse and inclusive community of teens in order to support their healthy social and emotional development.

The LAB seeks to level the playing field for area youth. We do not charge for programming. We provide opportunities for any area adolescent seeking to develop their passions and build relationships that build a more connected and productive community.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at The LAB

The teenage years are a time of immense growth and, often, accompanying stress. At The LAB, we believe that teens who feel respected and included respond to life’s challenges with greater flexibility and emotional resilience. With this in mind, The LAB is continually striving to be a more inclusive and supportive space for people of all identities and abilities. Our participants are neurotypical as well as neurodivergent, identify as queer and straight, gender queer and cisgender, and are of various races and religious backgrounds. At The LAB, building a diverse and inclusive community is an aspiration continually at the forefront of our work. We keep these goals in mind as we expand our programming and outreach and openly engage in difficult conversations to ensure that we stay true to our mission.
